Seth began his violin studies at the early age of 5 in the Suzuki method, and by age 9 was auditioned and accepted into a violin studio at the University of Michigan. His studies there provided the opportunities to begin his performance career at an early age, from soloing with symphonies to bluegrass benefits for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Throughout the years, he has performed nationally and/or internationally in the classical, jazz, rock, pop, broadway, country, christian, and gospel genres, just to name a few.
Seth completed his Bachelors of Music in violin performance at Miami University under the instruction of Emma Rubinstein. Afterwards, Seth accelerated his recording career upon moving to Nashville where he received his Master of Music in violin performance from Belmont University under the primary instruction of Elisabeth Small, as well as commercial violin under Tracy Silverman. Located across the street from the world famous Music Row, home to some of the most well-known studios and music industry titans, Seth was grateful to have regularly been asked to record for everything from country and rock albums, to video game and movie sound tracks, independent projects, network television, sound effect libraries and more.
Seth currently lives in Charleston, SC. Bringing Nashville with him to his new home, he maintains a busy commercial music schedule, in addition to regular section violin performances with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra.
